How
Do I Join The Friends
Friends
Membership is open to anyone who wishes to help strengthen the collections
and programs of the Clark County Public Library as well as promote literacy
in the community. Your support will directly benefit library patrons,
especially participants in the Children and Adult Summer Reading Programs
sponsored by the Clark County Public Library between the months of May
July of each year. Membership applications are available at the Library or
you can join at a book sale or Friends meeting.
How
Can I Donate Items?
The Clark County Public Library accepts donations of books, videos, DVDs,
etc. during normal hours of operation from February through November. All
donated items are offered for sale at the book sales.
How
Are Items Priced?
At a typical book sale,
hardcover books are sold for $3.00 and paperbacks are $1.00. Other items
are priced from $0.50 to $3.00. Prices may vary depending on the quantity
of items offered for sale. At the conclusion of the sale on Saturday
afternoon, a bag sale is featured. All books that will fit into a bag are
sold at a reduced price, usually $3.00.
